Quake 2 was my multiplayer game. We had a CTF clan, Frags 'R' Us and
would play Thunderwalker CTF maps. There was me, Big Mel, Ichora and
some other kid whose name I can't remember. We were unbeatable. We
played tons of matches with several games in each match and lost maybe 2 or 3 games at the most. We were insanely good.
Come by the DOOM meetup next month; 03/02/2024 - detailed info in the DOOM Menu @ 2oFB... it was a blast!!

I think Quake 1 was my peak FPS game, though. I would love to find some of the maps I played back in the day.
I played Quake 2 quite a bit in the late 90s. I remember it being a fun game, but I also remember it being fairly bad if there was any significant lag.
I've only ever played the first GTA.. I remember playing it in 1998, and at the time I had a PC with a 3DFX Voodoo2 card, and I played the Voodoo accelerated version of GTA. I thought it was fun, though I never played any of the later GTA games.
I remember using Gamespy to find the fastest servers.

I liked the CD soundtrack for MechWarrior 2 also. My favorite song from that
Pyre Light.
I only learned this just this week, but the soundtrack from SimCity 3000 was at one time available on CD. I wish I had known that back then. ;)
