    He is not a YouTube artist, but rather someone whose work you can find
    there. He predates the mainstream YouTube artists. Used to have at least
    one of his own TV shows. The one I remember was a game show called, "Are
    You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" I think he was also on a sitcom.

    Before YT, you would have found his comedy routines on cable TV, VHS, and
    DVD. :)

    Yep. Unless perhaps Jeff Foxworthy isn't very well known outside the US. Perhaps other countries have a different definition of "redneck" or perhaps don't use the term at all.

    I don't look at it as much as I used to. One individual, Danny Harmon,
    out of Florida, has a bunch of excellent railfan videos that I enjoy.

    I loved the one he did on prescription side effects.

    He started it with his wife basically being a "hypochondriac". She was watching this show, and lamented "I have every one of those
    symptoms"...to which, he replied "You do not have testicular cancer!!".
    :P

    After the laughter died down, he added "You don't even have
    testiculars". <G>

    Basically, he highlighted "Flora-Flor for itchy watery eyes". He
    continued with a list of 50 side effects (he didn't include death), then
    said "You know what?? I only have itchy watery eyes". <G>

    It may be his best hook or gimic, however he's able to keep things fresh and interesting year after year. At lesst in the US, everybody knows of someone hwo was raised in the South or from a rural or backwoods area that reminds people of his jokes and stories. I recall one sotry about a friend who
    hunted, and part of his lifestyle was wearing at least one camoflage item at any given moment. He noticed his friend had a camoflage wallet. His buddy said he's a hunter, and you don't want anything giving you away in the woods.
    Then he asked his buddy, "what if you drop your wallet in the woods? How
    will you find it?"

    American TV shows and movies are seen all over. The other day I was watching some old James Bond films, and Live and Let Die and Man with the Golden Gun were played back to back. I'm sure people in other countries got the humor behind the redneck Louisiana sheriff character.

    the original one failed...and am trying MultiMail for QWK Mail.

    I rarely get a chance to watch YouTube. Probably just as well, it
    would be easy to be sucked into watching it all day. :D
