Larian Studios can go dive into the nearest singularity. The failed to release a build of Baldur's Gate 3 for Linux!
Granted, Zorin will run pretty much any windows games, but would much rather have a native build than have to run through an emulator.
A native client would be great of course, but as long as they aren't trying to purposefully break things for WINE (like when devs use some unpopular anticheat software), its not always necessary to release a native client. I consider game releases that "just work" with WINE a win, compared to publishers like Riot or Blizzard who will ban or break WINE users. Devs can do far far worse.
Baldur's Gate 3 is rated Gold on ProtonDB, which means it should run fine under Linux from Steam, Lutris or Heroic launchers if you choose a proton runner, and possibly other versions of WINE. WINE Is Not an Emulator. Its come a long way. Vulken, DXVK, VK3D3, dgvoodoo all help in their spaces and have really bridged the gap. Prefixes can be tuned for specific games of different generations too. I like Lutris for manually installed games, but it'll pull in all your libraries from different sources too.
