For your BBS or as a user? Which ones do you play? I've got league10 and league618 games at shsbbs.net, but most aren't very active. For Honour is pretty fun, but barely IBBS. It just shares scores.

L618 IntrLord is at least somewhat active... someone keeps killing my
character anyway. ;) There is League 1 Lordnet, too, that goes through periods of activity.

I think the point of For Honour's IBBS is that whoever has the highest
score at the end of the league's game period is the winner and gets
bragging rights. In L21 anyway, it has been a long time since I have seen anyone exercise those rights.

On a related note, I could never figure out how one actually "wins" For
Honour. I still have a local game that is running the "pre 1.9" version
and have got to the point where I am out of trainers. I figured something would happen then, like a final fight against the dragon or somesuch, but
that does not appear to be the case.

For Honour is very unfinished, I would have liked to have had a way to win, interbbs battles, better balance etc. I'm over it now though, so unless some one picks it up and makes some PRs it will probably stay as is.

I got tired of working on stuff that people had little to no interest in playing, it's been on fsxnet interbbs for years, and i think 99% of people who set it up do so for their "users".

Most people want LORD or BRE and that's fair enough, for most people bbsing is about nostailga / living in the past.

I've started working on a new door again, it's similarish to for honour, and I'd love some feedback, suggestions etc. It's not finished though so I'm not distributing it for the time being. You can play what I have so far on my bbs (scove.talismanbbs.com:2323) it's called "The Drowned Reef"

I regularly play the pre-1.9 version I have online. I also try the 1.9
version but have difficulty getting out of the "no gold and no potions"
trap that I ultimately work my way into. I have stayed out of it before and was doing ok until an ibbs reset.

I can understand not wanting to work on something you think no one is
really using. There were things I wanted to do on one of my systems but
the few users I have are only there to play Yankee Trader or OOII so I feel those changes would only be noticed by me. That makes them very back
burner projects.

Galactic Dynasty is fairly BRE-like and, unlike BRE, was being actively developed.

keep running away. You have to beat something in order to get any gold,
and it is really difficult to beat your first critter when you only start
with three potions and zero gold.

It'd be nice if at least one or two of the critters (like a cattipillar or sparrow) was easier to beat like in the prior versions. ;)

They're certainly easier than the novice warrior! I run from that... Fluffy kitten isn't too hard.
