By change the from field I assume you mean at the time of posting a message? mutil will do this if you write out the message first and
then post it using the program.
I had a fidonet address that no longer is a part of fidonet (NET299) and have had to get a new address (NET220). I needed to be able to areafix/filefix to remove all areas that I had applied to. However I was unable to find a way to do it with Mystic. I even tried setting up a FDN for NET299 with a netmail message base and added it to my nodelist...no such luck, and maybe that ability is not included within mystic

I'm guessing you removed your 299 address from your Mystic system
*before* attempting to do this?
Since this is temporary, try re-entering the original address as one of your system AKAs, setup a temporary separate netmail area for only that address (so it can be removed after without messing anything else up), then while IN that netmail area, send a netmail to your uplink's areafix with your password as the subject line, and "-ALL" without quotes in the message body (since Mark uses Synchronet). Then you can remove the 299 address and netmail area once again.
I'm positive it can be done with Mystic, either way.
